Following my own Mum’s brush with cancer some years ago (don’t worry, she’s fine now) it was brought home to me that anyone can suffer from this awful disease at any time and many people need support during a very difficult time. During February and March I’ll be donating £20 from every new patient to Macmillan Cancer Support. Most of us have heard of them but not many know about the important work that they do. Macmillan offers information about cancer, support that sufferers can access, and a network of specialist nurses that help people in their own homes or in hospital.
Swansea Chirpractic Clinic is proud to announce that in just a few weeks we’ve raised £200 and we hope that by the end of the campaign we will be able to contribute a lot more to this wonderful cause. If you or someone you know is suffering from cancer right now please spread the word about the services that Macmillan offer. Pay them a visit at their website where you’ll find a regional option that lists the extent of their services in your area.
