What To Expect

At your first appointment you’ll be greeted by our friendly receptionist who will ask you to complete an intake form if you have not already done so online. If you have email you would have already completed this in advance and returned it to us. It’s crucial that you tell us everything that may be relevant to your current problem as the form is a key element in the process of getting to the bottom of the issue and going on to formulate the correct treatment plan to deal with it.

You will be thoroughly examined by your chiropractor and a number of tests carried out so that he or she can decide how to proceed. The whole process is very thorough and takes around 30 minutes in total.

Immediately following the Report of Findings it is your choice as to whether you wish to proceed with treatment, but that usually happens right away following the discussion with your chiropractor. Treatments usually take 15-20 minutes and will be patient-specific depending on the plan of management. Often, this will involve an adjustment to your spine or some other affected area, but this isn’t always the case. You can find out more about the techniques we use here.

Chiropractic treatment is not painful, and we want you to feel as comfortable as possible during your visit. We keep a keen eye on your progress and sometimes tweak your Treatment Plan to ensure optimal results, and you are kept fully informed of any changes.
